The Story behind Annie Card Creative Services
Annie Card is a professional photographer and former picture editor
at Yankee Magazine, which won dozens of photography and design
awards during her tenure. Her photographs have captured the spirit
of the American Red Cross, Eastern Mountain Sports, Sequoya Technologies
and the University of New Hampshire, among other businesses and
nonprofits.
In 2005, Annie founded Mississippi Home Again, a nonprofit
that raised over $2 million in donations in 2 years for survivors
of Hurricane Katrina. Through the creative use of photographs, press
releases, profiles, articles and media interviews, Mississippi Home
Again received national recognition and found a national network
of donors.
Features in People Magazine, ABC World News, The
Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix and dozens of other
media outlets inspired both corporate and private donations. Annie’s
story-based publicity was so successful that The American Red Cross
and Habitat for Humanity asked to partner with Mississippi Home
Again.
Now as the president of Annie Card Creative Services in Peterborough,
New Hampshire, she is ready to share her public relations and publicity
expertise with your small business or nonprofit.
